Crispy Oven-Baked French Fries

If you have  French fry lover at home, here is the best way to make them without frying and yes, they still come out crispy.

I use russet potatoes and after cutting, I soak them for about 15 minutes to get some of the starch out (which helps them crisp up in the oven). Then I top with some olive oil (I use Graza brand - code FEEDINGOURTODDLERS for $5 off - and bake. It’s important that you really dry the potatoes after the soak and that the cut potatoes aren’t touching when on the baking sheets so that they cook evenly.

They do take about an hour to bake - but it’s definitely worth being patient and letting them get nice and golden. Once out of the oven I toss with sea salt and serve.

*Note this recipe made enough for our family of two adults and two kids
